Include the details. Provide the proceeding date or recording length, the type of transcript you need, and your preferred deadline.

Email your request. Send your completed form or enquiry to info@legaltranscripts.ca. We will follow up about the next steps, pricing, and timing.
For Ontario court transcripts, we will arrange to request the court audio once we have the necessary information. If you already have an audio or video recording, contact us to arrange how to provide it. Pricing and turnaround depend on the project, recording quality, and deadline. We will discuss the estimate and any deposit requirements before work begins.

Ontario Court Transcripts: Access, Ordering, and Pricing
Members of the public can order most court transcripts, subject to any access restrictions. Higginson Transcription Services can help you check availability and guide you through ordering a certified transcript of a Court of Justice in Ontario hearing. There is NO charge for the process of ordering or our services to help you obtain the correct information which helps us provide project cost estimates. There are no hidden costs or administrative fees with Higginson Transcription.
Court transcript rates are regulated across Ontario. All Authorized Court Transcriptionists apply the same provincially regulated per-page rates for the same transcript format and turnaround time, whether you order from us or another Ontario provider.
Cost estimates may differ before the final page count is known. Your transcript charge is calculated using the completed page count and the applicable regulated rate.
Out-of-court audio and video transcription is available worldwide and quoted separately based on your recording and project requirements.

The first copy of a certified, electronic transcript is between $6.30 and $11.75 per page or a flat rate of $25, whichever is greater. These fees are regulated by the province of Ontario.
Court transcript rates are set by the Ontario government. Whether you contact us or another Authorized Court Transcriptionist (ACT), the same regulated rates apply for the same transcript format and turnaround time.
Please contact one ACT at a time and allow a reasonable opportunity for a reply before contacting others. This helps avoid duplicate inquiries, delayed records access, and overlapping work on your request.
